What is an approved personal assistant?

Approved personal assistants help people who require social care and support.  They are checked, trained and sign a code of conduct under Oxfordshire County Council's new Support with Confidence scheme.

We have also written a leaflet for people who are thinking about hiring a personal assistant.  You might find the leaflet interesting to read yourself and to give to people who are asking what an approved personal assistant is.

How do I apply for the scheme?
