Guide for Individuals and their Carers
The Guide for Individuals and their Carers is the guide you may already have a copy of; it is the guide that social workers and care managers give to people on their first meeting. If you do not have a copy of the guide and would like to have one, your social worker or care manager will give you one.
The guide is written in Easy Read and uses a large font:

Short leaflets
- Adult Social Care has changed (.pdf, 263Kb) is a short leaflet which explains what is changing in Oxfordshire and what self directed support is.
- Finding and hiring your Personal Assistant (.pdf, 1.4Mb). This leaflet explains how you can find a Personal Assistant who has been trained, checked and approved by Oxfordshire County Council.
- Support Brokerage in Oxfordshire (.pdf, 1.6Mb) This leaflet explains what support brokerage is and why Oxfordshire County Council will only allow support brokers who have been approved by the council to practise in Oxfordshire.
