Hiring a Personal Assistant
Approved Personal Assistants
Oxfordshire County Council has developed and introduced a new training and checking programme for people who want to work as Personal Assistants. This scheme is called Support with Confidence. The training takes several weeks for each individual candidate. After completing all training and checks successfully, they become Approved Personal Assistants and are given a certificate as proof.
The first Approved Personal Assistants have completed the scheme with more candidates currently in training (October 2010). Profiles and contact details will be added below when new Approved Personal Assistants become available.
